Award-winning story performer Dolores Hydock is slated to present a funny yet touching portrait of an Alabama mountain community in the 1970s during a program at Snead State Community College in Boaz.
Called "At Home Between Earth and Sky: Voices from Chandler Mountain," the program is set for Thursday with performances scheduled at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the Bevill Center.
The program is free and open to the public thanks to a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
